The shape and style is based on patellae from the early Imperial Roman period

The carinated body is made from florets of a single pattern in opaque red and white in a pale purple matrix, and has a purple and white T+H monogram

The applied footring is pale purple and white

Both the inner and outer surfaces have been rotary polished and show fine concentric polishing marks
