The shape and style is based on small bowls from the early Imperial Roman period
The body is made from florets of a single pattern of white dots set in an emerald green matrix and with an opaque yellow centre, and has an emerald green and yellow T+H monogram
The applied footring is emerald green and white
Both the inner and outer surfaces have been rotary polished and show fine concentric polishing marks
