1146 - Inlaid Bowl

The shape and style is based on bowls from the early Imperial Roman period

The vessel is made from a slumped disc of purple glass inlaid with a ring of florets of two patterns in opaque yellow and white outlined in purple, and has a purple and white T+H monogram. There is a horizontal groove below the rim on the inner surface

Both the inner and outer surfaces have been rotary polished and show fine concentric polishing marks
