The shape and style is based on bowls from the late Hellenistic period
The vessel is made from florets of a single patern: a yellow spiral with a purple centre in a colourless matrix. Also included are several small rectangular cane sections in white and several in purple with white stripes. There is a blue and white network cane around the rim and two colourless and yellow T+H monograms
Both the inner and outer surfaces have been rotary polished and show fine concentric polishing marks
