The shape and style is based on bowls from the late Hellenistic period

The vessel is made from canes of opaque white spirals embedded in a colourless matrix arranged in parallel rows, with a rim cane of a white spiral embedded in a dark blue matrix, and has a white and colourless T+H monogram

Both the inner and outer surfaces have been rotary polished and show fine concentric polishing marks
